It's finally ready and release. Sorry for the delay. 2003 eps 25 and 26 shouldn't be TOOOOO far behind, as they're already translated and edited, so they just need to be timed and typeset and such before release.
Anyway, it's time for the usual Wyrdwad blurb! ;)
PopoloCrois Story ep 25: "A Tiny Glimmer"
It all comes down to this: Will Hyuu really go back home? Will the ritual of the calamity take place once more? And if so... what will happen to the world? Will it be destroyed? Will it be reborn? Or is there more to Anemoritos than meets the eye? Join the whole cast for this final send-off; the stunning conclusion of this PopoloCrois Story!
Enjoy! (:

Look for 'em on the tracker and on IRC late tonight or early tomorrow morning. They'll be there, and you'll be happy! ;)
PopoloCrois Story 1998 ep 24: "Fruit of the Tree of Parting"
Has Hyuu finally come to terms with her desire to remain in PopoloCrois? And will the Wind-Kind even let her, or could it be that she simply CAN'T stay? What happens when the truth behind Anemoritos is revealed to her? Find out, in this second-to-last episode. Things are coming to a close now, and the grand finale is almost here...
PopoloCrois 2003 ep 24: "The Farewell Adventure"
I've said this to many people already, but I think I honestly consider this episode to be the single darkest half-hour EVER in children's television. And I don't mean "darkest" as in "bad," but "darkest" as in "holy crap, I can't believe they just did that... I need to pause the video, because I CAN'T SEE THE SCREEN THROUGH THE VEIL OF MY TEARS!" ;) Poor Luna's going to need some serious therapy after everything she goes through in this episode... but I think all of you who've stuck through this series since the beginning will agree that this is simply a DAMN GOOD EPISODE, and really does a tremendous job of strengthening the bond between Pinon and Luna. This is the episode that ultimately made me realize that Pinon and Luna really ARE as good a couple as Pietoro and Narcia. In other words, it's DEFINITELY not one to be missed...
Also, I'd like to take a moment to thank Psgels of "Star Crossed Anime Blog" for his continuing coverage of PopoloCrois. No English-language anime review site, on the whole of the internet, seems to have given PopoloCrois even a second glance, but Psgels has actually INDIVIDUALLY REVIEWED EVERY EPISODE OF BOTH SERIES, complete with screenshots, ratings, and general impressions on how the episode fits into the overall plotline, and how well it fleshes out the characters. Care to read these wonderful episode reviews for yourself? Hit up the blog, yo!

And that's all for now. Stay tuned in the weeks to come, though, for 1998's final episode, and 2003's buildup to the amazing confrontation yet to come...-Tom
Update: Ep 24's are on BT on IRC now!!! Grab'em and enjoy.....Seph...

Both 1998 and 2003 ep 22's are out!!!
Sorry again about the delay on these eps. Wyrdwad will be along soon to write the summaries. :)
** Oh, hey, look, here I am! (: Big apologies from me as well, as I'm most of the reason this took so long. But hey, as episodes to come back to after a long break go, these are some pretty good choices! Why, you ask? Well...
PopoloCrois Story 1998 ep 22: "Call of the Wind"The story is back! Those of you who have been keeping up with the series probably noticed that the last episode to actually develop the plot was 11, after which things focused much more on the characters. Well, for better or for worse, the anime's back to its main storyline now, and things are gonna start to really pick up from here until the ending in episode 25. This is DEFINITELY not one you want to miss!PopoloCrois 2003 ep 22: "Adventure on the Remnus"And here we have an odd hybrid episode: half clip show, half setup for the AMAZING conclusion that's coming in the next four episodes. This is definitely the "beginning of the end" here, and appropriately, it's also the first episode to feature the second variation on the "Tomodachi no Uta" opening animation (which I think is absolutely adorable!). Plus, it's got Luna explaining an aspect of the PopoloCrois mythos that will make it so you never think of beaches the same way again! I mean, geez, this is a kid's show... and that's a pretty dark image!! Just watch this episode... you'll be glad you did! (:Work will begin on the 23s soon. I can't promise you the speediest of releases, but I'm definitely gonna try to pick up the pace. Hopefully, there will be no more 6-month delays!Anyway, I hope you enjoy the episodes, and until next time... keep it real! Awww yeah! (:-Tom

Dunno if anyone's still around to read this, but yeah... it's been about six months since the last PopoloCrois release, which is ridiculous, and the blame falls almost entirely on me. It's been a weird time in my life, as I've changed jobs and work shifts three times during this last half-year period, have experienced patches of computer trouble, and... well... have just been a total lazy-ass, really, entranced by all the shiny new video games that have been coming out lately. (:
That having been said, though, my New Year's resolution was to get back on track with PopoloCrois, and get both of these series finished a.s.a.p... and dagnabbit, that's exactly what I'm gonna do! So just to keep you all in the loop, the episode 22s are fully translated and timed now, and will be released likely within a week of today, as all that really remains is encoding and some last-minute quality control. And hopefully, the delay between the 22s and the 23s will be nowhere near as long as the one you've just experienced, and the whole series will be out before you know it!
So keep your fingers crossed, and keep kicking me in the virtual nads if you see any sign of me slacking off again... 'cause baby, I'm back, and I swear to you all, the two PopoloCrois anime series WILL be translated in full!
